REGULAR TOWN BOARD MEETING MINUTES
March 14, 2005

The regular monthly meeting of the Sugar Camp Town Board was held on Monday, March 14th, 2005 at 7:30 p.m. at the Sugar Camp Town Hall.

1. Meeting called to order by the Town Chairman.

Present: Chairman Scott Holewinski
Supervisor Otto Schoeneck
Supervisor Paul Sowinski
Clerk John Bigley
Treasurer Lisa Wales
Mike Kortenhof

There were 3 visitors

2. Verification of Agenda posting and approval of Agenda. Discussion & action
The agenda was posted at the Town Hall, Sugar Camp Enterprises, Lilly Bass Road and Hwy H. between 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 12th , 2005

Motion: Schoeneck / Sowinski … to approve the agenda. Carried

3. Approval of the minutes from the last regular monthly meeting and any special meetings not
already approved. Discussion & action

Motion: Schoeneck / Sowinski… to accept the Regular Meeting Minutes of February 21st , 2005. Carried

4. Treasurer’s Report. Discussion & action

Motion: Sowinski / Schoeneck … to approve the Treasurer’s report with a February 1st checking and CD account balance of $ 470,838.04. Carried

5. Approval of vouchers. Discussion & action

Motion: Schoeneck / Sowinski … to approve the vouchers of $18,585.34 as presented. Carried

6. Public Comments None

7. Old Business:

A. Review additional road work proposed for Hide-A-Way Dr. Discussion & possible action
This item was moved to the April Meeting

8. New Business:

A. Clerks Items

1. Approval of the Annual Meeting Agenda. Discussion & possible action

Motion: Schoeneck / Sowinski … to approve the Annual Meeting Agenda. Carried

2. Review procedures to cease testing of the wells at the South Dump. Discussion &
possible action. Otto shared information with the Board. No action was taken

3. Review fee structure for Picnic License. Discussion & possible action

Motion: Schoeneck / Sowinski … to eliminate the dual picnic license and go to one
license for both beer and wine with a $5.00 fee. Carried

a. Chairman’s report- information only
Scott is still working with the DOT on the speed limit for Sugar Lane. No action taken.

1. Road Work Report: information & discussion only
2. Town Hall Report: information & discussion only

9. Motion to go into closed session pursuant to SS 19.85 (1)(c) to consider employment, promotion, compensation or performance of Town Employees.

Motion: Schoeneck / Sowinski … to enter in closed session pursuant to SS 19.85 (1)(c) to consider employment, promotion, compensation or performance of Town Employees.
Sowinski-Aye, Schoeneck- Aye, Holewinski-Aye Motion Carried

10. Motion to return to open session and report on any decisions reached in the closed session.

Motion: Schoeneck / Sowinski … to return to open session. No decisions were made during the closed session therefore no action was taken at this time.

11. Motion to adjourn.

Motion: Schoeneck / Sowinski … to adjourn at 8:30 p.m. Carried.

Town Elections will be April 5th, 2005
The Annual Town Meeting is scheduled for April 12th , 2005
The next Town Board Meeting is scheduled for April 18th , 2005
