REGULAR TOWN BOARD MEETING MINUTES
April 12, 2005
The regular monthly meeting of the Sugar Camp Town Board was held on Tuesday, April 12th , 2005 at 6:00 p.m. at the Sugar Camp Town Hall.

1. Meeting called to order by the Town Chairman.
Present: Chairman Scott Holewinski
Supervisor Otto Schoeneck
Supervisor Paul Sowinski
Clerk John Bigley
Treasurer Lisa Jolin
Mike Kortenhof
There were 12 visitors
2. Verification of Agenda posting and approval of Agenda. Discussion & action
The agenda was posted at the Town Hall, Sugar Camp Enterprises, Lilly Bass Road and Hwy H. between 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 10th , 2005
Motion: Schoeneck / Sowinski … to approve the agenda. Carried
3. Approval of the minutes from the last regular monthly meeting and any special meetings not
already approved. Discussion & action
Motion: Schoeneck / Sowinski… to accept the Regular Meeting Minutes of March 14th , 2005. Carried
4. Treasurer’s Report. Discussion & action
Motion: Sowinski / Schoeneck … to approve the Treasurer’s report with a March 1st checking and CD account balance of $ 480,237.80. Carried
5. Approval of vouchers. Discussion & action
Motion: Schoeneck / Sowinski … to approve the vouchers of $70,960.65 as presented. Carried
6. Public Comments: A town’s person asked if the Town had any plans to implement any renewable energy projects in the near future. Response by Chairman Holewinski was, not at this time. Another question from the floor dealt with the status of the Town’s Bike Trail. Response from Supervisor Otto Schoeneck was that work on the trail at this time was on hold, the Board will be looking into renewing the Bike Path Proposal in the near future.
7. Old Business:
A. Review additional road work proposed for Hide-A-Way Dr. Discussion & possible action
Motion: Schoeneck / Sowinski … to accept Pitlik& Wick bid of $10,682.80 with a stipulation that a sign be posted notifying public of road work to be done. Carried.
8. New Business:
A. Clerks Items
1. Town Hall use by non-profit organizations. Discussion & possible action
Groups wising to use the town Office should notify the clerk prior to such use and discuss the conditions that must be followed in order to use the office. No motion was made at this time.
B. Board Members Items
Chairman Holewinski
a. Chairman’s report- information only
Road limits will be lifted on Monday April 18th on all black topped roads. Chip sealed roads will be lifted as weather permits.
b. Correspondences – information only
There will be and Oneida County Health Fair at the Three Lakes H.S. on April 27, from 9-1:30. Otto will try to attend.

Motion to go into closed session pursuant to SS 19.85 (1)(c) to consider employment, promotion, compensation or performance of Town Employees.
Motion: Schoeneck / Sowinski … to enter in closed session pursuant to SS 19.85 (1)(c) to consider employment, promotion, compensation or performance of Town Employees.

Motion to return to open session and report on any decisions reached in the closed session.

No decisions were made during the closed session therefore no action was taken at this time.
11. Motion to adjourn.
Motion: Schoeneck / Sowinski … to adjourn at 6:45 p.m. Carried.
