REGULAR TOWN BOARD MEETING MINUTES
DECEMBER 19, 2005
The regular monthly meeting of the Sugar Camp Town Board will be held on Monday, December 19, 2005 at 7:30 p.m. at the Sugar Camp Town Hall.

1. Meeting called to order by the Town Chairman.

Supervisor Otto Schoeneck

2. Verification of Agenda posting and approval of Agenda. Discussion & action
The agenda was posted at the Town Hall, Sugar Camp Enterprises, Lilly Bass Road and Hwy H. by 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 14th.
Motion: Schoeneck / Sowinski … to approve the agenda. Carried
3. Approval of the minutes from the last regular monthly meeting and any special meetings not
previously approved. Discussion & action
Motion: Schoeneck / Sowinski … to accept the Regular Meeting Minutes of November 21, 2005. Carried
4. Treasurer’s Report. Discussion & action
Motion: Sowinski/ Schoeneck … to approve the Treasurer’s report with an December 1st checking and CD account balance of $ 308,378.32. Carried
5. Approval of vouchers. Discussion & action
Motion: Schoeneck / Sowinski … to approve the vouchers of $ 54,791.07 as presented. Carried
6. Public Comments:
Al Goodrich addressed the board concerning the current speed limit on County Highway H. He asked to Board to consider lowing the limit between Fallen Leaf Road and The Kathan Inn. The Board will discuss his request at the January meeting.
7. Old Business:
A. To consider a resolution authorizing the Treasurer to charge interest and penalties to
persons owing delinquent personal property taxes after December 31, 2005. Discussion
and possible action
At the November meeting the Treasurer was authorized to charge interest and penalties to persons owing delinquent personal property taxes. She was directed by the Board to file, in Small Claims Court, for judgments against those persons still owing the Town back taxes.
Review claim for damages from Scott Motto for cutting trees on private property.
Discussion and possible action
Legal counsel is looking into this matter. No further action will be taken at this time.
8. New Business:
A. Clerks Items
Request from Lloyd Fisher to discuss a snowmobile trail from the Huh Bar to the main trail system using a Town road. Discussion and possible action
After discussion with Mr. Fisher,, no action was taken at this time.
Review the status of the County Wide Grant Application to upgrade intersection signs.
All Town signs have been inventoried and all eligible sign locations have been sent to the county.
Review status of all 2005 budget accounts. Discussion and possible action.
The Board reviewed all the Town Accounts and found everything in order. The 2005 Town Books will be closed December 31, 2005.

The Chairman requested to have the January 16th meeting moved to January 23rd because he will be out of Town.
