REGULAR TOWN BOARD MEETING MINUTES
JULY 17, 2006

The regular monthly meeting of the Sugar Camp Town Board was held on Monday, July 17, 2006 at 7:30 p.m. at the Sugar Camp Town Hall.

1. Meeting called to order by the Town Chairman.
Present: Chairman Scott Holewinski
Supervisor Otto Schoeneck
Treasurer Lisa Jolin There were 5 visitors
Clerk John Bigley

2. Verification of Agenda posting and approval of Agenda. Discussion & action
The agenda was posted at the Town Hall, Sugar Camp Enterprises, Lilly Bass Road and Hwy H. by 7:00 p.m. Saturday July 15 between 7:30 & 9:30 p.m., 2006.
Motion: Schoeneck/Holewinski … to approve the agenda. Carried

3. Approval of the minutes from the last regular monthly meeting and any special meetings not
previously approved. Discussion & action
Motion: Schoeneck/Holewinski … to accept the Regular Meeting Minutes of June 19, 2006. Carried

4. Treasurer’s Report. Discussion & action
Motion: Schoeneck/Holewinski … to approve the Treasurer’s report with an June 30, 2006, checking and CD account balance of $ 413,521.84. Carried

5. Approval of vouchers. Discussion & action
Motion: Holewinski/Schoeneck … to approve the vouchers of $ 146,695.86 as presented. Carried

6. Public Comments:
A. Ric Wollak, Arbutus Road, informed the Board the residents around Indian Lake have formed
a Lake Association.
B. Brian Kral, Sugar Camp Youth Club, reminded the Board that the Annual Slow Pitch
Tournament will be held August 4, 5, & 6.

8. New Business:
A. Clerks Items
Review turn-a-round in a new subdivision on Hwy. 17. What to do with the snow? Discussion and possible action.
Motion: Holewinski/Schoeneck …after inspecting the road the Board determined that it does not meet Town Road Ordinance Specifications, page 2, 7-C. Specifically the turn around is only a 50 foot radius and therefore not acceptable to the Town. The Clerk will contact the developer to have him contact Scott Holewinski to resolve this issue. Carried.

Consideration of a parking ban on Channel Road. Discussion and possible action.

Review operating rules for the cemetery. Discussion and possible action

Review plowing of private roads in the Township. Discussion and possible action.

a. Chairman’s report- The Town will sponsor the Oneida County Towns Association Meeting on August 17th.
Motion: Schoeneck/Holewinski …that the Town of Sugar Camp should host the August meeting of the Oneida County Towns Association and provide lunch and refreshments. Carried
