REGULAR TOWN BOARD MEETING MINUTES
JULY 16, 2007
The regular monthly meeting of the Sugar Camp Town Board was held on Monday, July 16, 2007 at 7:30 p.m. at the Sugar Camp Town Hall.

- Verification of Agenda posting and approval of Agenda. Discussion & action
The agenda was posted at the Town Hall, Sugar Camp Enterprises, Lilly Bass Road and Hwy H. by 12:00 p.m. Sunday, July 15, 2007.
Motion: Schoeneck/Holewinski … to approve the agenda. Carried
- Approval of the minutes from the last regular monthly meeting and any special meeting not previously approved. Discussion & action
Motion: Schoeneck/Holewinski … to accept the Regular Meeting Minutes of June 11, 2007.

- Treasurer’s report. Discussion & action
Motion: Schoeneck/Holewinski … to approve the Treasurer’s report with a July 1, 2007 checking and CD account balance of $ 238,672.83. Carried
- Approval of vouchers. Discussion & action
Motion: Schoeneck/Holewinski … to approve the vouchers of $ 47,804.88 as presented. Carried
- Public Comments: A request for the Town to look into a run down property on dam Lake Road was received. No action at this time.
- Correspondences: None
- Old Business: Update on Hidden Acres Lane. Discussion and possible action.
The Town will receive a quick claim title from the developers and that will be recorded with the county by the end of the month.
- New Business:
A. Consider a request from Chris Manney for division of property on Columbus and Ripco Road. Discussion and possible action.
Motion: Schoeneck/Holewinski …that the Town has no objections to the 2 lot division of land. Carried
B. Consider a request to improve Dam Lake Road. Discussion and possible action.
This road is scheduled to be repaired in 2009 with .5 of a mile to be redone. The board will inspect the whole road and re-evaluate its needs.
C. Consider a request from Lynn Ann Thomas to ban the use of “Jake Brakes” or “Engine Brakes” on Hwy A from the 45 MPH speed limit sign to Hwy. 17. Discussion and possible action.
No action was taken, a Town Board member will talk to the companies whose trucks are using this type of breaking to try to get them to stop.
D. Consider a request to replace the cemetery sign on Cty. Hwy. D. Discussion and possible action.
The Schoeneck Family has donated a new cemetery sign to replace the old one on Hyw. D and Blackberry Lane.
E. Review the date for Open Book and Board of Review. Discussion and possible action.
Open Book will be on September 11 from 3 to 6 p.m. Board of Review to follow from 6 to 8 p.m.
F. Road Work Report: Discussion and possible action
Motion: Schoeneck/Holewinski …to accept the report as presented. Carried
G. Town Hall Report: Discussion and possible action
Motion: Schoeneck/Holewinski …to accept the report as presented. Carried
