REGULAR TOWN BOARD MEETING MINUTES
NOVEMBER 20, 2007

The regular monthly meeting of the Sugar Camp Town Board was held on Wednesday, Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. at the Sugar Camp Town Hall.

1. Meeting called to order by the Town Chairman.
Present:

Chairman Scott Holewinski
Supervisor Otto Schoeneck
Supervisor Paul Sowinski There were 3 visitors
Clerk John Bigley
Treasurer Lisa Jolin
Foreman Kortenhof

2. Verification of Agenda posting and approval of Agenda. Discussion & action
The agenda was posted at the Town Hall, Sugar Camp Enterprises, Lilly Bass Road and Hwy H. by 6:00 p.m. Thursday, November 15th.
Motion: Sowinski/ Schoeneck… to approve the agenda. Carried

3. Approval of the minutes from the last regular monthly meeting and any special meetings not previously approved. Discussion & action
Motion: Schoeneck / Sowinski … to accept the Regular Meeting Minutes of October 20, 2007, as corrected.. Carried

4. Treasurer’s Report. Discussion & action
Motion: Schoeneck/ Sowinski… to approve the Treasurer’s report with an November 1st checking and CD account balance of $389,139.63. Carried

5. Approval of vouchers. Discussion & action
Motion: Schoeneck / Sowinski … to approve the vouchers of $93,250.04 as presented. Carried

6. Public Comments: None

7. Correspondences:

  • Letter from Bart Sexton; Oneida County Solid Waste Director

  • E-mails concerning Jennie Webber Lake Road. A copy of the letters will be made for the Board members.

  • A petition pertaining to Jennie Webber Lake Road was accepted by the Board and will be read into the minutes at the December 17 Board Meeting.

  • Trip Application is being processed.

  • Motto matter is signed and now settled.

  • A bill for the Zmek matter was received and will be kept on file.

9. New Business:

1. Consideration of a 10 lot subdivision from TMT Partnership, LLC, located at 6300 Lost Lake Road. Discussion and possible action
Motion:
Schoeneck/Sowinski …to approve the 10 lot subdivision request from TMT Partnership, LLC. The Town Board requests a copy of the Certified Survey Map once it is recorded. Carried

2. Consideration of a two lot subdivision from John Fedor, located at 7546 Cty. Hwy. D
Motion: Schoeneck/Sowinski …to approve the 2-lot subdivision request from John Fedor. The Town Board requests a copy of the Certified Survey Map once it is recorded. Carried

3. Review an Application for a Highway to Enclosed Land. This request is for the Town to lay out a highway to a land lock parcel owned by Peter Zmek. Discussion and possible action
Motion: Sowinski/Schoeneck …to hold a Public Hearing on December 13, 2007at 3:00 p.m. in the Class Room located in the Fire Shed. The Board will meet then drive to the proposed site area for inspection then return for the Hearing. Carried.

4. Consideration of Blackberry Hills Trail as a name for a private road off of Blackberry drive. Discussion and possible action
Motion: Sowinski/Schoeneck …that the Board has no objections to the name Blackberry Hills Trail. Carried

5. Review the Tax Letter to be sent out with the 2008 taxes. Discussion and possible action
Motion: Sowinski/Schoeneck …to accept the letter as written. Carried.

6. Review Policies and Procedures used in renting the classroom located in the Fire Shed. Discussion and possible action
Motion: Sowinski/Schoeneck …to table this item to the December meeting. Carried

7. Road Work Report: Discussion and possible action
Motion: Schoeneck/Sowinski …to accept the report as presented. Carried

8. Town Hall Report: Discussion and possible action
Motion: Schoeneck/Sowinski …to accept the report as presented. Carried

10. Motion to adjourn to the Annual Budget Meeting.
Motion: Sowinski/Schoeneck …to adjourn to the Annual Budget Meeting. Carried

11. Reconvene after the Annual Budget Meeting to pass the 2007 Tax Levy to be paid in 2008 and to complete any business remaining on the Regular Town Board Meeting Agenda for November 20, 2007.
