REGULAR TOWN BOARD MEETING MINUTES
JANUARY 16, 2008
The regular monthly meeting of the Sugar Camp Town Board was held on Monday, JANUARY 16, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. in the Sugar Camp Town Hall.

1. Meeting called to order by the Town Chairman.

2. Verification of Agenda posting and approval of Agenda. Discussion & action
The agenda was posted at the Town Hall, Sugar Camp Enterprises, Lilly Bass Road and Hwy H. by 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 9, 2008.
Motion: Schoeneck/ Sowinski… to approve the agenda. Carried
3. Approval of the minutes from the last regular monthly meeting and any special meetings not previously approved. Discussion & action
Motion: Schoeneck / Sowinski … to accept the Regular Meeting Minutes of December 17, 2007, with changes.. Carried
4. Treasurer’s Report. Discussion & action
Motion: Sowinski/ Schonek… to approve the Treasurer’s report with an November 1, 2007 checking and CD account balance of $1,285,997.66. Carried
5. Approval of vouchers. Discussion & action
Motion: Schoeneck / Sowinski … to approve the vouchers of $1,079,117.68 as presented. Carried

7. Correspondences: None
8. Old Business: The Town Board requested the clerk to get a copy of guidelines that cover the use of the States Recycling Grant Monies.
9. New Business:
- Review Guidelines for use of the new snowmobile race track.
Scott Schwalbe, representing the snowmobile club, addressed the issue of how the snowmobile race track will be used. Signs have been ordered telling people that the track is not open for public use. He asked if the Town might be able to use old fencing to fence off the track. The Town will work with the club and the club agreed to provide the Town a copy of its insurance policy for races that it holds.
- Review Guidelines and Policies for allowing snowmobiles to use Town Roads.
This item will be further discussed at the February meeting. The Town wants to verify all the roads designated for snowmobile use.
- Review Policies and Procedures used in renting the classroom located in the Fire Shed.
Motion: Schoeneck/Sowinski …to accept the Fire Shed Classroom rental policies and procedures as presented. Carried
