REGULAR TOWN BOARD MEETING MINUTES
January 11, 2010

The regular monthly meeting of the Sugar Camp Town Board was held on Monday,  January 11, 2010, at 7:30 p.m. at the Sugar Camp Town Hall.

1.  Meeting called to order by Town Chairman

Chairman Scott Holewinski
Supervisor Otto Schoeneck 
Supervisor Paul Sowinski
Treasurer Lisa Jolin
Clerk John Bigley
Foreman Kortenhof 
There were 2 visitors

2. Verification of Agenda posting and approval of Agenda.
The agenda was posted at the Town Hall, Sugar Camp Enterprises, Lilly Bass Road and Hwy H. on Wednesday January 6, 2010.

Motion: Schoeneck/Sowinski … to approve the agenda. Carried

3. Approval of the minutes from the last regular monthly meeting and any special meetings not previously approved. 

Motion: Schoeneck/Sowinski… to accept the Regular Meeting Minutes of December 22, 2010. Carried

4. Treasurer’s Report.

Motion: Sowinski/Schoeneck… to approve the Treasurer's report with a January 1, 2010 checking and CD account balance of $1,041,733.58 as presented. Carried

5. Approval of vouchers.

Motion: Sowinski/Schoeneck …to approve the vouchers of $ 932,374.39 as presented.  Carried

6. Public Comments: None

7. Correspondences: 

  1. Wisconsin Town’s Association
  2. Vilas County Zoning Office
  3. Oneida County Planning & Zoning (2)
  4. State of Wisconsin – Homeland Security Council: The clerk is to send a copy of this correspondence to Jay Verhulst Northwood’s Insurance Associates, Inc: 

8. Old Business:

  1. Baseball Field update – Mike will get prices for watering system.

9. New Business:  

  1. Review road work for 2010 and approve advertising for bids.
Motion: Sowinski/Schoeneck …road work for 2010 will be Ripco Road from the county line south to the new black top.  Carried
  1. Review a Resolution to Oppose DOR County Assessment Proposal

    Motion:         Schoeneck/     Sowinski …to accept the resolution as written and mail to state.
  2. Road Work Report.

    Motion: Sowinski / Schoeneck … to approve as read, report attached to minutes. Carried

  3. Town Hall Report

    Motion: Schoeneck/Sowinski … to accept the report as read, report attached to minutes. Carried

  4. Set Next Board Meeting Date

    Motion:  Schoeneck/ Sowinski …to set the February meeting for February 15, 2010.  Carried
